Verified MRR and subscriptions from Stripe via TrustMRR. "Channel as listed" is the founder's own list on TrustMRR or a founder statement, so the channel is self-reported even when the revenue is verified. Per sub = MRR ÷ active subscriptions (our math). Domain rating: third-party rating shown on each TrustMRR listing, read Nov 5, 2026. Rank Prompt ($42,300 a month) lists blog, content marketing and newsletter on TrustMRR but not SEO by name, so it is not counted here.
The 7 that name SEO have a median of $21,200 a month, against $23,000 for the 14 that name another channel (our math, small groups). Their median subscription pays about $33 a month. StoryShort's founder says Google search brought 44 new customers in one week (X, Oct 24, 2026; self-reported).

Main channel = the first channel each business names on TrustMRR or in founder statements. Ranked = verified payment data synced in the last 30 days, same rule as the leaderboard. Small groups: read medians as a direction.
What is a search visitor worth to an AI SaaS?
Some TrustMRR listings connect Google Analytics, DataFast or Google Search Console, so their traffic is pulled from the API, not typed in. These are every ranked business on our leaderboard with that data:
| Business | Visitors, last 30 days | Google impressions, last 30 days | Revenue per visitor | Verified MRR | Traffic source |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| QR Code AI | 76,500 | 4,480,000 | $0.21 | $14,900 | Search Console |
| Vid.AI | 31,200 | not shown | $1.24 | $50,400 | Google Analytics |
| Lunchbreak | 28,100 | not shown | $1.27 | $31,500 | Google Analytics |
| Rank Prompt | 22,400 | not shown | $2.46 | $42,300 | Google Analytics + Search Console |
| notis.ai | 18,400 | not shown | $0.52 | $13,400 | DataFast + Search Console |
| White Glove Content | 12,400 | not shown | $5.33 | $63,100 | Google Analytics |
| Shannon AI | 5,700 | not shown | $0.23 | $7,500 | DataFast + Search Console |
| CaptureFlow | 4,100 | not shown | $1.27 | $4,600 | Google Analytics + DataFast + Search Console |
| SiteJourney | 1,800 | not shown | $5.06 | $9,100 | Google Analytics |
| Audn.AI | 1,100 | 14,600 | $39.49 | $29,300 | Search Console |
| Adelante | 54 | 9,400 | $212 | $15,200 | Search Console |
TrustMRR public listings, read Nov 5, 2026. Revenue per visitor = TrustMRR's own figure (last 30 days revenue ÷ visitors). Visitors are from all sources, not only search. Laper is left out: its listing shows 1 visitor, so tracking is not set up.
The spread is the lesson. QR Code AI gets the most traffic by far, with 4.48M Google impressions behind it, and earns about $0.21 per visitor, because "QR code generator" is a broad consumer search. Audn.AI gets about 1,100 visitors and earns about $39 per visitor, because it sells security testing to companies shipping AI agents. Adelante, a done-for-you AI support service, earns about $212 per visitor from 54 visitors. SEO is worth it when the searcher is the buyer; for a narrow B2B product, a few hundred of the right visitors beat a million impressions.
How long does SEO take from zero?
| Source | Product | Reported result | What they did | Label |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| r/SaaS, about Feb 2026 | Postpire (solo SaaS) | Google signups about 2 months after a December launch; about $300 MRR | Published pages from day one, plus daily X posts and replies | reported (founder claim) |
| r/BuildToShip, about Mar 2026 | SaaS launched with 0 followers | Long-tail pages started ranking around month 4; now the most consistent source of signups | 15 to 20 problem-specific landing pages, no blog farm | reported (founder claim) |
| r/SaaS, about Apr 2026 | Reddit lead-finding tool | About 6 months to real traffic; organic search now about 40% of new signups; about 175 paying customers, about $5k a month | Long-tail posts on competitor keywords, plus Reddit posts that rank on Google | reported (founder claim) |
| r/BusinessDevelopment, Apr 15, 2026 | Small B2B tool for freelancers | Real organic leads around month 9 to 10; steady after about 14 months | 5 to 8 deep pages on narrow use cases and comparisons | reported (founder claim) |
The pattern: narrow, buyer-intent pages ("contract template for X", "reddit lead generation for SaaS founders") start working in months; broad terms do not. Every founder above ran another channel while waiting.
Do AI Overviews kill SEO for AI tools?
They take a real share of clicks. Ahrefs compared 300,000 keywords and found an AI Overview went with a 58% lower click-through rate for the top-ranking page (desktop, December 2025 Search Console data), up from 34.5% in its earlier study; position 10 lost about 19%. When AI Overviews reached France on Jul 22, 2026, Ahrefs saw the most exposed domains lose 23.1% of their click-through rate in nine days, while the median domain lost 5.7%. The same answers now show up inside ChatGPT and Perplexity, so the new goal is to be the page they cite: how to get your AI SaaS cited by ChatGPT.
How well does Google traffic convert?
| Source (first touch) | Outside browsers | Engaged | Newsletter signups | Reached /sponsor/ |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Google and Bing | 128 | 48 | 0 | 2 |
| ChatGPT and other AI assistants | 76 | 59 | 3 | 1 |
| X | 56 | 22 | 1 | 0 |
| 9 | 6 | 1 | 0 |
The AI Receipts' own first-party analytics, Oct 29 to Nov 5, 2026 (11:01 AM CT), owner, internal and bot-suspect traffic removed. Engaged = viewed a second page, scrolled or interacted. One small, young site, one week: a direction, not a benchmark.
Google sent us the most people this week, but ChatGPT and other AI assistants sent the readers who stayed and subscribed. For a young domain, search engines and AI answers index the same pages, so one good answer page can earn both.
How should an AI SaaS do SEO in 2026?
- Own the plain name of the job. Rezi (resume builder), QR Code AI and MagicSlides (AI presentations) each match what buyers type.
- Start narrow. The founders above got their first Google signups from long-tail, buyer-intent pages, not broad guides.
- Write answer pages AI assistants can quote. A direct answer, a table and dated sources help with Google and with ChatGPT citations.
- Price for the traffic you will get. At $0.21 a visitor you need tens of thousands of visitors; at $39 a few hundred will do.
- Run a faster channel while you wait. Compare X, Reddit, TikTok and Meta ads, and get links with how to get backlinks for an AI SaaS and where to list an AI SaaS.

FAQ
Does SEO work for AI SaaS?
For tools people search for by the job they do, yes. 7 of the 21 ranked AI businesses with a sourced channel name SEO or organic search, and 6 lead with it: Rezi ($241,000 a month), Laper ($51,400 a month), Kolbo.AI ($40,600 a month), StoryShort ($21,200 a month), QR Code AI ($14,900 a month), Taja AI ($13,700 a month) (verified revenue; channel founder-stated or from the listing, checked Nov 5, 2026).
How long does SEO take for an AI startup?
Months. Founder reports from 2026: Google signups about 2 months after launch ($300 MRR, r/SaaS), long-tail pages ranking around month 4 (r/BuildToShip), about 6 months to real traffic and then roughly 40% of new signups from search (r/SaaS, about $5k a month), and real organic leads only around month 9 to 10 for one B2B tool (r/BusinessDevelopment, Apr 15, 2026). These are founder claims.
Do AI Overviews kill SEO traffic?
They cut it. Ahrefs found that an AI Overview went with a 58% lower click-through rate for the top-ranking page on desktop informational keywords (300,000 keywords, December 2025 Search Console data). When AI Overviews launched in France on Jul 22, 2026, the most exposed domains lost 23.1% of their click-through rate in nine days. Ahrefs measured informational keywords, so buyer searches may lose less.
How much is an SEO visitor worth to an AI SaaS?
It depends on the buyer. On TrustMRR's connected analytics (read Nov 5, 2026), QR Code AI earns about $0.21 per visitor on 76,500 visitors a month, Rank Prompt about $2.46 on 22,400, and Audn.AI, which sells to companies building AI agents, about $39.49 on 1,100. Broad consumer tools need huge traffic; narrow B2B tools need little.
Does domain rating matter for SEO-led AI businesses?
Less than you would think. Among the SEO-led businesses here, domain rating runs from 28 (Laper) to 72 (Rezi) (third-party rating shown on TrustMRR, read Nov 5, 2026). Laper makes $51,400 a month at DR 28. More in our backlinks guide.

The AI Receipts sells a sponsored leaderboard row plus Mon/Wed/Fri newsletter mentions for $29/mo while under 2,000 visitors a month; first month free for every new sponsor. Audience: about 1,100 unique browsers a month and 16 newsletter subscribers (as of Nov 5, 2026). No click guarantees.
