⚠ Stripe key expired on TrustMRR on Oct 19, 2026 (last updated Oct 19, 2026): the figures stop that day and October is a partial month. If the key is not reconnected, Glossa drops off our ranking 30 days after its last sync.
⚠ Revenue is uneven month to month (Sep $31,765 vs Jun $16,479); pay-as-you-go hours and event bookings likely add one-off revenue on top of MRR (our read; the listing does not split it).
⚠ Pricing, founding date, the 65% profit margin and "about 2,000 users" are founder-provided on the listing, not verified. Usage figures (about 1,000 churches, 50,000+ minutes a week, July 2026) come from the founder via Shipped & Paid, self-reported.
⚠ The Feb 2026 security incident (customers wrongly charged $500 each) is the founder's own account.

The story
Glossa (glossa.live) streams a live translation of a sermon or Christian event: the speaker's microphone feeds it, and listeners scan a QR code and hear or read the service in their own language on their phones, with no receivers or headsets. Its site lists voice cloning (translations spoken in a voice modelled on the speaker), Bible-aware terminology, a custom vocabulary for pastors' names and ministries, captions for ProPresenter and OBS, and RTMP streaming to YouTube or Facebook (glossa.live, read Nov 3, 2026).
Pricing on its TrustMRR listing (founder-provided): pay as you go at $5 per hour per language, or Standard $99, Advanced $300 and Premium $500 a month. With 100 active subscriptions at $14,400 MRR, that is about $140 a month each (our calc.: MRR ÷ subscriptions), so most paying churches are on the $99 plan or above. TrustMRR lists Cyprus, a June 2025 founding date and founder Anton K. (@karbanovich, 110 X followers).
Verified monthly revenue: $6,200 in November 2025, $4,100 in December, $11,200 in March 2026, $20,700 in April, $22,000 in July, $22,800 in August and $31,800 in September 2026, its best month. October reached $20,200 by Oct 19 (partial: the feed stopped that day). TrustMRR showed MRR up 16.0% and last-30-days revenue up 2.9% over the 30 days to Oct 19.
The founder says he built it for his own international church "with ai tools and a middle developer" (X, Mar 22, 2025) and later named Claude Code. In February 2026 he posted that the "vibe-coded" app was exploited: 180 customers were charged $500 each before he rotated the API keys, and he lost about $2,500 in Stripe fees ("I trusted it too much"). On May 6, 2026 he posted that it had passed $20k in revenue (all self-reported on X).
Revenue figures are pulled from Glossa's TrustMRR listing, which read them from Stripe until the Stripe API key expired on Oct 19, 2026 (last synced Oct 19, 2026, 3:53 AM CT). The figures are real but frozen at that date; we re-read the listing on Nov 4, 2026 and it had not resynced.

Our verdict
Yes
The pattern is the useful part: the founder solved a problem in his own community (an international church), priced it per hour so a small church can start cheap, and sells to a niche that generic translation apps and ad freelancers ignore. Copy the pattern in your own niche; just have someone check the security before you take payments.
