Which AI businesses are actually profitable?
If everyone is "making money with AI," why aren't you? Revenue is easy to flash. Profit is the part that decides whether the business is real.
Today we show verified revenue only: payment-processor MRR for 58 ranked AI businesses, median $22,000/mo as of Nov 5, 2026. Almost no founders share costs, so we cannot honestly say who is profitable yet. We are doing that analysis now. Be the first to get it.
What we can prove today
Every ranked number on our leaderboard comes from Stripe, RevenueCat or Superwall via TrustMRR. Founders cannot type it in. That answers "who is collecting money?" It does not answer "who keeps any of it?"
- Revenue ≠ profit. Ads, API bills, contractors and refunds sit under those MRR lines.
- Costs are rarely public. When a founder shares them, we will label it. Until then we will not invent a margin.
- The ask from readers was clear. Commenters on our first X article wanted profit, not just receipts. We heard you.
What is coming
A profitability pass across the ranked set: who shared costs, who did not, and (where the evidence exists) which businesses actually turn a profit. Rounded headlines, exact figures in the tables, same evidence labels you already trust.
