Every startup here shows $100,000 or more in monthly recurring revenue. Ranked rows are verified from Stripe via TrustMRR with a sync in the last 30 days. Startups whose last verified figure cleared $100k but whose data stopped syncing (or whose listing was removed) sit in the not-ranked table; self-reported figures are labelled as such.

Monthly revenue is MRR from payment data (Stripe, RevenueCat or Superwall via TrustMRR) for Verified rows; other rows show the founder-reported or public figure. Avg per sub is our math: MRR divided by active subscriptions. Updated Oct 30, 2026.

How many customers does $100k a month take?

Anywhere from 61 to 10,000. The price per customer decides it. AEO Engine gets there with 61 agency clients at about $2,900 each a month. Cometly needs 280 B2B subscriptions at about $720. Postiz needs 9,500 at about $34. Per-customer figures are our math (MRR divided by active subscriptions). At $30 a month you need about 3,300 paying customers to reach $100k; at $3,000 you need 34.

How long did it take to reach $100k a month?

Years, not months. Postiz was founded in July 2024 (TrustMRR listing) and first collected more than $100k in a month in May 2026 ($117,503, TrustMRR monthly total), about 22 months later. Cometly was founded in October 2020 and collected between about $183k and $221k in every full month from November 2025 to September 2026. AEO Engine lists June 2018 as its founding date: it is an existing agency that repositioned around AI search, and grew from $62,405 collected in November 2025 to $164,301 in September 2026. Rezi took longest: founded in May 2015, it reported $1M ARR in March 2023 (company blog) and $2.25M ARR in January 2024 (founder on Indie Hackers), both self-reported. Its public TrustMRR history starts in Nov 2025, already at $236,320 for the month, so we cannot date when it crossed $100k. GojiberryAI is the fast exception: founded in July 2025, it showed $424,000 MRR at its last sync on Aug 14, 2026, but that sync stopped, so it is not ranked.

How did $100k-a-month AI startups get customers?

Two of the ranked startups have a sourced channel. Postiz's founder credits Reddit plus open source, after a closed-source attempt with paid marketing did not work (self-reported; Postiz revenue post). Rezi's founder credits organic search on "AI resume" keywords (Indie Hackers, Feb 2024, self-reported; Rezi revenue post). Cometly and AEO Engine do not publish a main channel on their listings, so we do not guess. In the not-ranked group, GojiberryAI says it grew through LinkedIn and cold outreach (~95% organic, self-reported), Chatbase through viral X posts, and TypingMind through word of mouth after an X following (both self-reported). See how AI businesses get customers for every sourced channel.

Which AI startups are closest to $100k a month?

The next three ranked below the line: PropGPT ($98,100), GoMotion AI ($67,900), White Glove Content ($65,900). PropGPT, a $9.99-a-week sports-betting app, is the closest consumer app at $98,100 from 2,500 subscriptions (Superwall via TrustMRR). The full $50k+ tier is on AI businesses making $50k+ a month.

Is $100k MRR the same as $1.2 million a year?

Only as a run rate. MRR is what active subscriptions bill each month; it is not profit, and it moves. Some businesses collect far more than their MRR: Comp AI took in $764,555 in 30 days with only $13,020 MRR (TrustMRR, Oct 28, 2026), because most of its revenue is not monthly subscriptions. We rank by MRR, so it is not on this list. Removed and stale listings are excluded from the count: Chatbase was last verified at $864,000 MRR (Jul 31, 2026), PROSP at $128,000 (last sync Feb 5, 2026).

  1. Postiz: $324k MRR

    AI SaaS · TrustMRR, Oct 28 2026 · Verified · last verified 2026-10-28

An open-source, agentic social media scheduler that plans, writes and posts for you.

Main channel: Reddit + open source (Self-reported)

Replicable? Partly. Open source as distribution (GitHub stars, self-hosters converting to cloud) is copyable; a crowded scheduler market is not easy to break into without it. Read the case study →

  2. Rezi: $241k MRR

    AI SaaS · TrustMRR, Oct 30 2026 · Verified · last verified 2026-10-30

An AI resume builder for job seekers: it writes, edits, formats and keyword-checks a resume so it gets past applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Main channel: Organic search (SEO) (Self-reported)

Replicable? Hard. The product is reproducible (a resume editor plus LLM writing and keyword matching), and AI resume builders are crowded. What is hard to copy is eleven years of search traffic: the founder credits organic search for growth, and the site has a domain rating of 72 on its TrustMRR listing. A new entrant would need a channel of its own. Read the case study →

  3. Cometly: $10.1M all-time

    AI SaaS · TrustMRR, Oct 27 2026 · Verified · last verified 2026-10-27

Ad attribution for B2B SaaS, with AI you can chat with about your ads data.

Replicable? Hard. A pre-AI analytics product with years of integrations. The lesson: add AI to a product that already has data people pay for. Read the case study →

  4. AEO Engine: $203k / 30 days

    AI agency · TrustMRR, Oct 29 2026 · Verified · last verified 2026-10-29

An AI-search SEO agency that gets clients cited by ChatGPT and AI Overviews.

Replicable? Yes. Service businesses need no product build. The playbook is a clear niche promise plus high-ticket retainers, which is achievable for any skilled SEO operator. Read the case study →

  5. TypingMind: ~$130–160k / month

    AI SaaS · founder newsletter, Oct 2025 · Self-reported · last verified 2026-10-16

A chat front-end for LLMs that became a solo founder's path to financial independence.

    Main channel: X/Twitter (Self-reported)

Time to first $: Same day as MVP (Mar 6 2023) (Self-reported)

Replicable? Partly. Being early with a polished wrapper mattered. Today the lesson is product quality + B2B upsell, not "build a wrapper". Read the case study →
